The sanctuary light! "The tradition of sanctuary
lights was begun during the Middle Ages when an Abbot of Fleury preached that every church should have a perpetually burning
light before the Lord's Body as a tribute to the worship due Him". These lights were kept lit always as a symbol
of the everlasting light of god. In the tradition of Catholic artistry, sanctuary lights were made of the finest materials,
cast in brass and bronze, based on an original vision from highly trained craftsmen and artists.
